The Massachusetts actress can be seen on the big screen in this year’s “Ocean’s 8,” but she’s already familiar to audiences at Wellesley College productions, where she earned three nominations for the Independent Reviewers of New England Award while a student.

The state says that thousands of customers generated close to $40,000 in the first day of KENO 603 sales. Customers bought over 5,800 tickets at nearly 40 locations statewide with the first drawings held Friday. Players won about $22,000 in prizes.

An anonymous donor who already has given the New Hampshire Food Bank $275,000 in recent years is prepared to give another $100,000. Food bank officials say the donor will match each dollar given to the program through the end of the year, up to $100,000. The $200,000 total would be enough to pay for 400,000 meals.

A recently released economic impact study shows Burgess BioPower (BBP), the first to utilize the facility’s actual operating data, found the annual economic benefit of the plant throughout NH in 2016 was 221 jobs, $13.9 million in labor income, and $63.4 million in output of goods and services.
